Chef's in the Kitchen!

And so it begins... with an invitation from the Chief Chef to join her Monday morning to cook up some fun!  The first day back to school for teachers at Chets Creek is like no other first day back to school that I have ever seen!  It's full of fun and excitement.  There's no boring meeting with the Principal reading the new mandates until you want to poke your eyes out with pencils!  Instead, each grade level has been meeting over the summer to plan a skit that has to do with the theme to start the morning.  The skits are funny - in fact, they are often hysterical! - and irreverent.  Not only do they provide light hearted entertainment but they force teams to get together for fellowship and fun over the summer.  Teams at Chets have already figured out how to work with each other because of this summer planning!  Now that's what I call the recipe for success!
